The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) has officially initiated the bidding process for the 2028 CEV EuroVolley. National Federations, alongside their respective cities and local authorities, are now invited to submit proposals and begin planning to host this major European championship.
Following a significant format update introduced before the 2019 edition, CEV EuroVolley now features 24 teams for both men and women. The tournament has since captivated hundreds of thousands of people across Europe, drawing them to witness the continent`s top players compete in an electrifying atmosphere that combines elite sport, high-quality entertainment, and a thrilling ambiance.
The 2028 CEV EuroVolley is scheduled to occur shortly after the LA28 Olympic Games. It will provide Europe`s leading teams with a prominent platform to compete, inspire, and convey a powerful message of unity, thereby emphasizing the sport`s capacity to build connections while fostering healthy competition.
