Conor McGregor has suggested his time in UFC might be coming to an end, even though he still has two fights left on his UFC contract.
The 36-year-old fighter has not fought in the octagon since July 2021. In that fight, he broke his leg badly in a match against Dustin Poirier in Las Vegas.

He was supposed to fight Michael Chandler in June, but he had to pull out because of a toe injury.
Since then, McGregor hasn`t seemed very interested in returning to UFC, and has been more focused on politics.
McGregor visited former US President Donald Trump at the White House earlier in March. After this visit, he announced that he intends to run for president of Ireland.
Now, it seems his main goal is to put his energy into his country rather than his MMA career.
When asked about his UFC return, McGregor stated, “I`ve got two fights on the contract, I`m in negotiations…”
He continued, “Last week, something changed for me. I went to the White House, and I feel strongly about my country right now.”
“There are many things happening back home… I`m happy with what I have achieved.”
“There`s something else calling me now, something I feel deeply. And that`s the path I`m taking.”
Former MMA star Daniel Cormier believes that McGregor`s fighting career is finished.
Cormier commented, “Conor is acting like a politician now.”
“Is this some kind of joke? Why is he at the White House? What is happening?”
“I`m ready to say that I think it`s over for him in UFC. I think he`s done.”
