Finland has won the 2025 Men`s CEV European Golden League title after a composed and effective performance against Czechia in the final.
The match began with high energy from both teams. Czechia managed to secure the first set with a narrow 26-24 score, showcasing strong serves and attacks that initially put Finland on the back foot.
However, Finland responded strongly in the second set, drawing level at 1-1. A significant moment occurred when Czechia`s Lukas Vasina suffered an injury and had to leave the match, with Jiri Bend coming on as a replacement. Finland capitalized on this disruption, winning the set.
Maintaining their momentum, Finland convincingly took the third set. Their effective block defense and strategic attacks were key in exploiting Czechia`s adjusted formation.
