Jon Jones, the UFC heavyweight champion, has stated that the organization is fully informed about his future fighting intentions, despite the ongoing uncertainty surrounding a potential bout with interim champion Tom Aspinall.
A significant title unification fight between Jones and Aspinall has been anticipated since November of last year.

However, this highly awaited contest has yet to take place, even though UFC management reportedly agreed to meet Jones` demand for a substantial payment.
Many MMA fans have become impatient with Jones, accusing him of avoiding the British contender Aspinall, whose career path remains uncertain.
Jones, however, has countered his critics, asserting that he has already communicated his plans to UFC CEO Dana White and the rest of the leadership.

Responding to a fan on X (formerly Twitter) who suggested he might be stripped of his title, Jones tweeted:
Stripped? Lol, do I seem like the kind of person who cares about things like that?
You`re focusing on the wrong thing. I informed the UFC of my plans ages ago. I don`t understand why they haven`t disclosed them publicly yet.
The 37-year-old former top-ranked fighter`s firm declaration that the UFC knows his plans came just three days after UFC CEO Dana White confidently guaranteed that Jones would return to the octagon this year.

Jones, a UFC Hall of Famer, has expressed frustration over accusations that he is avoiding Aspinall, a fighter from Wigan, who currently holds the record as the longest-reigning interim champion in UFC history.
Last week, on Instagram Live, he addressed the situation, saying:
I’ve got people in the chat calling me a duck. Meanwhile, I`m living my absolute best life. I don’t know if it’s considered ducking when you’re living good. I don’t think it works like that.
Jones also recently amused or provoked UFC fans with a playful remark about his lack of recent fights.
On a shared Instagram post with Bangtao MMA promoting an upcoming training seminar in Thailand, he commented:
Everything but fighting.

Jones has not competed in the octagon since his impressive spinning back-kick knockout victory over Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 in November.
Aspinall, on the other hand, has been inactive since his dominant win against Curtis Blaydes in their rematch at UFC 304 last July.
