UFC star Chris Padilla endured a horrific cut during his UFC London fight against Jai Herbert, yet emerged victorious.
The American fighter secured a split-decision win over Britain`s Jai Herbert, achieving this triumph while visibly bloodied.

An elbow strike from Herbert caused a severe gash above Padilla`s left eye.
Despite the injury, he fought through to win by decision, though fans online expressed their disgust at the sight of the cut.
One observer commented, “Looks like a shark bite.”
Another added, “Definitely going to have a nice little scar from that.”
One reaction stated: “Brutal! On the bright side, he won.”
Another comment read: “Damn, that cut is nasty! Congrats on the W though.”
Speaking about the cut, Padilla admitted: “S***, I don`t know bro it just hurt like a b***h if you want me to be honest with you.
“But it is what it is bro, like I always say I win by any means. If this was going to happen, s*** I would have taken one right across the face.
“I would have still walked forward. I couldn`t see anything out of my left eye as blood was pouring down.
“But I was ready to push through no matter what.”
Lightweight fighter Padilla, 29, improved his record to 16-6, securing his sixth consecutive victory.
