Italian volleyball club Trentino Volley has officially appointed Marcelo Méndez as their new head coach. The highly-regarded Argentinian strategist takes over the reins at the Italian powerhouse.
Méndez is widely recognized for his remarkable tenure with the Argentinian national team, guiding them to a memorable bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games. He also boasts an impressive record at the club level, particularly with Brazilian giants Sada Cruzeiro, where he achieved numerous titles.
His move to Trentino signals the club`s ambition to compete at the highest level in the forthcoming Serie A1 campaign and European tournaments.
