In a heartfelt message, Vettori wrote about his brother, emphasizing Patrick`s importance in his life and the profound loss he feels.
He described Patrick as his number one, his strength, and the smarter of the two, highlighting the bright future Patrick was building for himself.
Vettori expressed his belief that Patrick is now in heaven, watching over them, and concluded with a touching vow to be buried next to his brother one day.
According to Italian news reports from TgCom24, the fire occurred in Patrick`s apartment in Mezzocorona, in the Trento province.
Emergency services responded to the scene, but tragically, Patrick had already succumbed to smoke inhalation. He was 30 years old.
Marvin Vettori, a prominent European UFC fighter, holds a professional record of 19 wins, eight losses, and one draw.
He previously competed for the middleweight title in 2021 against Israel Adesanya and has recently experienced two losses in his fights.
