NHL Playoff Prop Bets for Sunday: Key Picks and Analysis

Sunday`s Game 7 between the Winnipeg Jets and St. Louis Blues is a high-stakes affair, with the winner advancing to face the Dallas Stars in the second round of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The contest takes place at Canada Life Centre, a venue where the home team has prevailed in every game of the series so far. St. Louis forced this decisive matchup with a 5-2 victory at home on Friday.

In Game 6, Alexey Toropchenko and defenseman Philip Broberg were offensive contributors for the Blues, each recording a goal and an assist. Their effort helped chase Vezina Trophy finalist Connor Hellebuyck from the net for the third time this series. Hellebuyck, who won the Vezina last season, has struggled on the road, allowing at least five goals in each game in St. Louis, compared to just seven goals total in the three games in Winnipeg.

Historically, the Blues hold a 5-6 record in Game 7s but are currently on a four-game winning streak in such contests, dating back to 2016. Winnipeg, on the other hand, has only played one previous Game 7 in franchise history, securing a road victory against the Nashville Predators in 2018. The Jets will be without forward Mark Scheifele (undisclosed injury) for the second consecutive game.

With the series culminating in a winner-take-all Game 7, here are some player prop bets worth considering for Sunday`s crucial matchup.

Best Bets

Kyle Connor (Jets) – Anytime Goal Scorer (+155 at bet365)

Kyle Connor was a prolific scorer in the regular season, leading the Jets with 41 goals and reaching the 40-goal mark for the second time. He has carried that offensive momentum into the playoffs, scoring in four of the first six games of this series. The 28-year-old left wing is tied for sixth in playoff goals this season. Looking back to last year, Connor has scored in five of his last seven postseason appearances, demonstrating his consistent offensive threat.

Pavel Buchnevich (Blues) – 1+ Assist (+168 at FanDuel)

Pavel Buchnevich was an offensive catalyst for the Blues early in the series but has been held pointless in the last two games. Prior to that, the 30-year-old Russian left wing contributed offensively in each of the first four contests, including his first career postseason hat trick in Game 3. He started the playoffs with a four-game assist streak. Considering he recorded at least one assist in eight of nine playoff games last year before his current short drought, it`s reasonable to expect him to get back on the scoresheet by setting up a goal in Game 7.

Cam Fowler (Blues) – 1+ Assist (+142 at FanDuel)

Veteran defenseman Cam Fowler entered this series with 27 assists in 62 career playoff games. He has significantly added to that tally against Winnipeg, registering eight assists over the first six contests. That places him just one assist behind Connor McDavid for the overall postseason lead. Fowler recorded at least one helper in each of the first five games of the series, notably setting up goals in all three games played at Canada Life Centre. He has been a consistent offensive contributor from the blueline, accumulating 15 assists in his last 19 playoff appearances.
