White Model Forced To Apologize For Unknowingly Appearing On Cover Of “Black Hair” Magazine

British model Emily Bador was recently featured on the cover of “Black Hair” magazine. The kicker is she’s white, so as per usual, people are mad.

Your tweet makes no sense, honey. But anyway, the model has responded and…ugh.

So before I get to her apology, let me mention that there was absolutely no reason for her to apologize in the first place. An old picture that she posed for was used, without her knowledge, on the cover of a magazine. People are offended that she appeared on the cover of said magazine. I fail to see how she’s at fault. If “Black Hair” readers have an issue with the cover, they should take it up with the magazine editors who chose it.

So on to Ms. Bador’s apology…it’s a doozy.

I believe this shoot is from when I was around 15 and didn’t understand cultural appropriation or the impact it has on POC. I was uneducated, which obviously is no excuse, ignorant and immature. Growing up in a very very white city, I had no idea the struggles black women face and how often they were persecuted for their hair.

I’m 26 and I don’t understand how this photo contributing to the “persecution” of POC (people of color, for those of you who have a hard time translating liberal jargon). Please don’t bother explaining. I’ve heard it all before, I just think it’s BS.

I didn’t understand that shoots like this support the very Eurocentric beauty standard that the mainstream media focus on which reinforce the idea that black features are only ok on white women.

We must have very different understandings of the main stream media… either that or I missed the “black features are only ok on white women” memo.

I hold up my hands, I’m so so so sorry and I’m very sorry this cover was taken away from a black woman.

You poor sweet girl. I think she actually feels awful about this, which is frustrating. PC culture and the politics of minority victimhood have successfully made this young, naive, and seemingly kind girl buy in to the narrative that she, as a white person, is simultaneously the root of all evil, and responsible for solving everyone else’s issues.

I’m so glad I’ve educated myself and surrounded my self with people to teach me what is right and wrong.

Behold, the tragedy of it all. As I’ve mentioned before, I haven’t always been conservative. I opened my eyes to the fallacy of liberal logic in my early twenties, and haven’t looked back since. Since then I too have “educated myself.” For a young person in today’s world, the fork between Right and Left is an easy one to ignore. Before you know it, you are entirely immersed in leftists culture and rhetoric, and now consider it your moral code. Your liberal modeling friends should not be the ones who dictate what is “right and wrong,” Emily, but that is a discussion for another day.

(also please let me know if I’ve said anything wrong or offensive in this post!!! or anything i can add!!!! i love u all sm and the last thing i want to do is offend or hurt any one, i really hope you don’t all think im a massive twat 😔)

….woof. Just stop.

Any time I post something like this I am told that the reason I don’t understand how harmful “cultural appropriation” is because I’m a big fat white meany racist who just doesn’t get it because of all of my white privilege points. Want to know the main reason I am absolutely fed up with divisive identity politics? Because I myself am what the libs will force-label a “POC.” My mother is Hispanic and I moved to the US as a teenager. I have NOT ONCE been held back by ANYONE because of my background. Surely there are racist people out there, but this idea that the “system” is trying to keep you down because of your race is UTTER HORSE POOP. In fact, I often resent that my minority status may be seen as a “pro” when it comes to applying for jobs, memberships in organizations, etc. because I want to be judged solely on the basis of my qualifications, and I know that my qualifications KICK A**. I refuse to be a “POC” token, and if people actually care about equality, they would too. But they don’t. The current liberal narrative of victimhood has absolutely nothing to do with equality, which is a huge reason why I’m a conservative. Conservatives expect me to work for what I have. Liberals believe that I’m not capable of it.

I have earned everything I have, and you can too, because we live the USA. The American Dream is only dead for those who have been complicit in its murder.
