After her stunningly embarrassing loss to Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, many thought we had seen the last of Hillary Clinton, politically.

Unfortunately, it seems that the vanquished democrat has not fully retired from politicking, even after going into deep seclusion in the months following her electoral evisceration by President Trump.

Rumors have been swirling for weeks that the corrupt Clinton could be eyeing the New York City Mayor’s office for her next foray into elected office, even spawning crony-created and unofficial “Hillary For Mayor” signs that were used to vandalize parts of The Big Apple. A new report from TMZ, however, shows that Clinton is truly considering her options.

Will Hillary Clinton be the next mayor of New York City? According to various reports, she’s seriously considering making a run at it.

The latest report comes from TMZ, who spoke with an attendee of a recent small gathering with Clinton and some key NYC political players. According to TMZ’s source, the failed presidential candidate brought up a mayorial run:

‘Hillary Clinton was at a small gathering recently with some politically connected people in NYC, and it seems she’s noodling the idea of running for mayor.’

‘A source who was at the gathering last month says Hillary brought up the topic of running and made it clear she was honestly considering it.’

‘We’re told she was talking to people in her close circle to gauge the level of interest and support in a Clinton candidacy.’

Of course, as Mayor of New York City, Clinton could wreak havoc not only on a state that is already struggling to define its conservative roots against the population disparity with the liberal-infested New York City, but it would give the former First Lady jurisdiction over the hometown of Donald Trump and Trump Tower where the president often stays when not in Washington.
