Sure, the democrats in America want you to believe that radical Islamic terrorists are angry at America for our freedom, our inalienable rights, and our culture. ISIS themselves tell a different story, often referring to the total elimination of “worshipers of the Cross”. This storyline is all but banished from the mainstream media, due to their extreme leftist views, but it is nonetheless the truth – straight from the caliphate’s mouth.
Now, with Easter and Passover upon us, there has been a marked increase in attacks against Christians, their houses of worship, and their belief as a whole. A new report from Breitbart.com explains the situation to us.
On Palm Sunday, twin bombings by jihadists at two Egyptian churches killed at least 45 worshippers and wounded more than 100 others in the latest of a long string of deadly attacks targeting Christians throughout the world.
The attacks were directed specifically to Christian in their houses of worship to avoid any ambiguity regarding the intent. As has been noted, this was ‘an attack on Christians simply because they are Christians.’
On Saturday, the Pakistan military said it has thwarted a ‘major terrorist attack’ against Christians planned for Easter Sunday after a successful overnight raid just hours after Christians celebrated Good Friday services.
On Easter Sunday 2016, an Islamist militant took the lives of more than 70 people and injured over 320 more after detonating his suicide vest in a park in Lahore that was full of Christian families celebrating the feast. Among the victims are more than 30 small children, who at the time of the blast were playing sports and outdoor games in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park.
During the last calendar year, some 90,000 Christians were killed for their faith across the globe, making Christians by far the most persecuted group in the world, according to a study from the Turin-based Center for Studies on New Religions (CESNUR).
By the numbers alone, the Christian faith is under attack in ways that no one would have predicted. The threats posed by radical Islam are no laughing matter, yet the left wing of global politics refuses to admit to the true nature of ISIS, Al Qaeda, ISIL and others due to their belief in a global government. The so-called globalist movement cannot suffice another holy war being waged on some of the most populous religions in the entire world, lest they wish to abandon their folly of negating the sovereignty of the planet’s nations. Open borders, a policy long held by leftists, has increased the danger to Christians the world over, as ISIS has been known to exploit the Syrian refugee crisis in order to disguise and distribute their operatives all over the world.
While we celebrate today, we must remind ourselves also of the sacrifices and tragedies that have befallen the Christian faith in recent years, and we must ask ourselves if we can continue to allow liberals to ignore the dangers posed by radical Islam.
