Sweden and Hungary collide in high-profile Silver League Men final

The 2025 CEV Volleyball European Silver League Men is set for an exciting conclusion. The two leading teams will compete for the championship title in a two-legged final scheduled for July 3 and July 6. Following a month of intense competition featuring eight ambitious national teams, the strongest teams have emerged, each aiming to achieve a historic victory for their country.

Sweden currently holds an undefeated record in the competition, finishing the league round with six wins from six matches and dropping only one set. Their final opponent, Hungary, suffered just one defeat, which happened to be against Sweden in the second-to-last league match.

The teams met in Austria on June 28, a week prior to the final. Sweden demonstrated clear dominance in that match, securing a decisive 3:0 victory with sets scores of 25:15, 25:21, and 25:17, leaving no doubt about the outcome.

The final will feature two matches, with each team hosting one leg. This setup ensures both teams benefit from home crowd support. With promotion to the Golden League and a place among Europe`s top teams on the line, both finalists are highly motivated to seize this opportunity.

The first match is scheduled for July 3 in Kecskemet at 18:30 CEST. The second leg, where the champions will be crowned, will be played in Umea, Sweden, on July 6 at 17:00 CEST.
