Tom Aspinall, a UFC star, has experienced a lot of intense moments in the octagon. However, his time working as a bouncer also exposed him to considerable violence outside of the fighting arena. This job was necessary to support his training.

One particular event remains vividly in the memory of the fighter from Wigan.
During his appearance on Michael Bisping`s podcast, “Believe You Me,” he described an incident from when he was a bouncer at a “nice” bar.
“Things got chaotic, and fights broke out. As we rushed in to intervene, we saw a man biting off another man’s nose,” Aspinall recounted.
Aspinall was understandably shocked by this brutal act.
What happened immediately after the nose was bitten off was even more unbelievable for the interim UFC heavyweight champion.
Aspinall continued, “The attacker was about to spit the nose out, but his friend advised him, `Don’t spit it out, he’ll be able to reattach it.` So, the guy swallowed the nose instead.”
Fortunately for Aspinall, biting is prohibited in the octagon. It was one of the initial rules implemented at the UFC`s first event in November 1993.

Aspinall, 31, is currently preparing for the most significant fight of his career – a heavyweight title unification match against MMA legend Jon Jones.
The date for this highly anticipated fight is still pending, but UFC CEO Dana White has stated that the fight is “done” and will happen.
Speaking to TNT Sports, White said, “It’s going to happen. It’s agreed, but not finalized to the point where we can announce the date yet.”
“However, the fight is definitely on. It’s now just about getting the contracts signed.”
“If we finalize this and officially announce the fight, it will be the biggest heavyweight fight in UFC history.”
Aspinall hinted at an upcoming fight announcement last week after meeting with UFC Chief Business Officer, Hunter Campbell.
He shared a photo with his father and Campbell on his social media, captioning it, “Stay tuned.”
