Conor McGregor has made a sensational claim, stating he is currently in “serious talks” to purchase the popular online content platform OnlyFans.
Over the past five years, OnlyFans has gained widespread popularity, utilized by a diverse range of individuals, including musicians and the general public, to provide followers with exclusive access to their content and daily lives.

However, the platform is now primarily known for its adult content creators, who generate a significant portion of its revenue.
In 2023, the platform`s revenue saw a massive leap, growing from £277 million ($375m) to an astounding £4.8 billion ($6B), largely attributed to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Currently valued at just over £6 billion (eight billion dollars), the company`s owner, Leonid Radvinsky, is reportedly looking to capitalize on its success.
UFC icon McGregor asserted that he is one of several parties interested in acquiring the platform, which is anticipated to receive multiple bids.
Sharing an Instagram post about the platform being up for sale, McGregor wrote on his story, “I`m in serious talks to buy this.”
The 36-year-old Irishman`s estimated net worth is around £147 million ($200m), indicating he would need substantial additional financial backing to become the owner of OnlyFans.
McGregor has not stepped into the octagon since fracturing his left leg during his third fight against Dustin Poirier nearly four years ago.
During his hiatus, he has focused on business ventures, including purchasing shares in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship in April 2024.
McGregor enthusiastically described his investment in the promotion in an exclusive interview with SunSport, stating, “This is a major player in this industry. Bareknuckle Fighting Championship is a major, major player in this industry. And it`s growing fast. And it`s got an unbelievable foundation, it`s a rock-solid [foundation]. With the stable of fighters and a stable team, the team around it that`s grown it and built it, this is a serious player in the game.”
McGregor was initially scheduled to make his much-anticipated return to the cage last June in a showdown with his rival coach from The Ultimate Fighter season 31, Michael Chandler.
However, he withdrew from the planned fight in Las Vegas due to a broken left pinky toe.
The prominent UFC fighter recently publicly urged the promotion to begin arranging his return fight.
Despite McGregor`s call for action, UFC President and CEO Dana White has tempered expectations regarding the former two-weight champion`s imminent return to the cage.
White told Adam Glyn, “He`s not fighting anytime soon. I haven`t talked to him in a minute. But yeah, I don`t know when [he`ll fight again].”
If McGregor does return to fighting, it will be his first bout since being found civilly liable for assaulting Nikita Hand at a Dublin Hotel in December 2018. The former two-division champion appealed the verdict handed down at Dublin`s High Court last November and is hoping that the introduction of new evidence will result in the civil trial outcome being overturned.
